Position, Transition, Relocation
The following webinar and training was developed in response to an RFP for career development sessions for the 2017 Emerging Multicultural Leadership Experience hosted by YMCA of the USA's Multicultural Leadership Development department. The presentation was initially facilitated during an in-person training experience, and then adapted to an online webinar format to reach a broader audience.
The one hour training, Position, Transition, Relocation was developed to encourage employees to consider long-term careers within the YMCA organization. With an overarching focus on employee retention, development and overall satisfaction, the session seeks serve as a developmental training for employees considering a new role.
The training received overwhelmingly positive feedback after the in-person training, which created the need for the development of the webinar content. The webinar was initially facilitated for the Multicultural Mentoring Program participants, but was then distributed to a larger audience, because of the course's ease of access and applicability to the general target employee.
